Kenya Travel Information
The Republic of Kenya
is a country in East Africa.
It shares land borders with
Ethiopia,
Somalia,
Sudan,
Tanzania, and
Uganda,
as well as having a coastline on the Indian Ocean.
Kenya also contains Mount Kenya, which is the second
highest mountain in Africa, and is one of three nations
which share the shores of Lake Victoria
(the others being
Tanzania and
Uganda).
As of 2009,
the population of Kenya was estimated as being
39,002,772
The country's capital and largest city is Nairobi, which,
as of 2009,
had an estimated population of 3,138,295.
